The Core Values of
Faith At Work

Stewardship: How we structure and manage our resources

Servant Leaders

We seek not ultimately self preservation of the organization, but a faithful stewardship of what we have been given. What we have resources, ideas, money is ultimately from God, so we desire to give it away as freely and as responsibly as we can.

Balanced Board/Staff Leadership

F@W is intentional about recognizing the gifts and diversity of all God’s people. Board and staff leadership seek to balance the wisdom of laity and clergy, male and female, and ‘Younger and Elder’.

Relational Decision Making

We value process and product. Our decisions are stronger when they are made in the context of trust-building relationships with one another.

We are a Scattered People

We are a small, decentralized organization that relies on the gifts of volunteers and F@W teams around the country. These teams have the freedom to express F@W in their own way within the values of the whole.

Identity: Our interior life as an organization

Purpose: Our mission and service to God's world
