Guatemala Pilgrimages
As pilgrims, we travel with the intent to be in the present
moment, be with the people of Guatemala, and be changed by God.

Since 2002, Faith At Work Pilgrimages to Guatemala have
provided an
opportunity to deepen one's relationships with God, oneself, others and
creation. Being a "working pilgrimage" we do active physical labor in the Guatemalan Highlands
with Mayan villagers on a project for their community, such as a school or
potable
water. A few days are also spent at Lake Atitlan, with
day trips to San Lucas Toliman, Santiago Atitlan and the Mayan market at Chichicastenango
which provide opportunities to walk alongside the people (and history) of
Guatemala.
We have partnered with the PAVA Foundation
each year and also had the opportunity to work with the Potter's House
in Guatemala City several times.
