-
Feeling weary, desperate, overbooked?
-
Is "Sabbath" just a quaint idea or a practical possibility for you?
-
Does it seem to you that there is no escape from your responsibilities?
-
Are you searching for ways faith communities can support renewal?
It is difficult to find places to explore these questions — especially
as they relate to spirituality. Left unexamined, these questions can stake
a huge claim on our emotional energy. The Renewal for the Work Weary Soul
retreat will use Mark’s story of “Feeding the 5,000" to provide a “safe”
space for reflecting on these questions.
You can expect:
-
discussion of obstacles to renewal
-
identification of tools for renewal
-
communal Sabbath celebration
-
time for silence
-
beautiful surroundings
-
small groups with kindred souls
-
opportunity to be heard and to hear
-
spirited singing
-
engaging leaders...
-
to be renewed
There's room for everyone at the Faith at Work table
